Port of Grenaa buys a second Gottwald crane and leaps ahead with 140 tons extra lifting capacity Grenaa has bought a four year old Gottwald GHMK 7608B from Port of Aalborg. The new crane joins the Gottwald HMK 360 E, which was bought from Copenhagen Malmö Port in 2006.
Port of Grenaa continues growing, and to support customers even better the port management has been looking for some time to extend the crane capacity. When the new crane became available on the market, Port of Grenaa therefore decided to purchase.
Local TV has visited the crane driver in the tower cabin on the crane’s very first job, unloading 15.000 ton bio pellets.
