The new Takraf crane working at Port of Kokkola Gottwald Port Technology now offers Verifiable Weighing System – EU type approved
Gottwald has developed another unique feature for Gottwald cranes that enables the crane operator to accurately weigh the amount of bulk materials handled with the crane.
EU type approval means that the system can be used in trade in all European countries, after official verification by national or local authorities.
The system is type approved in Accuracy Class 0.5 which means a permissible error of 0,25%.
The weighing system is only available when ordered with new Gottwald Generation 5 mobile harbour cranes.
