VATTENFALL BUYS NEW CRANE CABS FOR BULKCRANES
New cabs are fitted on PWH cranes at ‘Nordjyllandsværket’ power plant
Port-Trade has supplied 2 new KLAB crane operator cabs, complete with multiple adjustable driver’s seat and adjustable operator consoles.
The new cabs provide the most effective and ergonomically correct working environment for the crane drivers, presently available on the market.
Testing various designs, a team of experienced crane drivers opted for the KLAB design which already has proven popular in Sweden. Before delivery, various details in the design were adapted to the special requirements of the drivers.
The cabs were delivered completely wired and fitting them took less than one week for each cab.
Practical experience with the cabs has exceeded the high expectations of the drivers, who spend many working hours in their crane.
